A pair of SD60s crawl down the Cranbrook subdivision with an empty ballast train in tow; it is destined for Swansea, roughly 80 or so miles south, where it will be refilled and sent back north.
A loaded coal train departs Teck’s Greenhills mine and heads south on the Fording River subdivision. Just a few kilometres south of the mine, the train crosses over the eponymous river.
A pair of ES44ACs lead a potash train south on the Aldersyde sub. This is the first potash train that I've ever seen on this line; I wouldn't mind if these became routine but it seems more likely ... (more)
