The tunnel belches smoke as 3985 emerges, also belching smoke.

Wow! What a lashup! The Bush Unit leads the Katy and the Mo-Pac Heritage units through the bottoms and past the bluffs of the Mississippi River.

3985 heads south on the Chester Subdivision near Columbia, IL. If you look close, you will see the Saint Louis skyline in the distance on the right side of the horizon.

The southbound INRD train splits some Monon semaphores in the final days of the Hoosier Sub.

The Holiday Express heads toward it's next stop in Godfrey, IL. Little did I know, this would be my last opportunity to photograph them in black paint.
