The UP Potash Local is returning to Grand Junction past the splendor of rugged Utah.

The UP Potash Local is returning up the Cane Creek Sub and starting the climb out of the Colorado River Canyon.

UP 1396, a former St. Louis Southwestern/Cotton Belt and Southern Pacific GP40-2 (note tandem double headlight on nose) waits on the ready track in the UP's North Yard.

A yard consist of GP40-2s goes about sorting cars while a coal train gets tied down on the left and construction of a new overpass starts in the background.
