Waiting for permission to proceed is San Luis Rio Grande No. 459. Built for Amtrak as a F40PHR it was later rebuilt as a F40M-2F. I hope I have the information correct.

Old and new alike on LaVeta Pass. The regular passenger train passes the steam special on La Veta Pass. It was a good day to be trackside.
