A mine run on the former Interstate Railroad bucks through some snow on the way to the load out at Steer Branch on the Glamorgan-Dixiana Branch.
This photo is pure Pokey. A coal drag struggling to make the tuff grade as it exits the Vivian Tunnel and crosses Elkhorn Creek. As you can see, the old cement marker is still in use.
