Sitting on the First Coast RR this unit was ex GN>BN and was getting a going-over by the FRA man. I would have liked to see the report.

Here we get a better look at AZER 4010 and sister 4011. Both were built in September 1987 for the Southern Pacific.

AZER 4010 pulls a train south out of Clifton after interchanging with the FMI. The AZER consist is right at home on the former SP. The AZER fleet of B40-8's are ex SP.

Arizona Eastern's southbound turn departs Clifton for South Siding in the early afternoon.
For a brief time, AZER had an excursion train running along their rails to & from the San Carlos Apache Gold Casino & Resort. The reflection off the side of #6070 is very "Arizona".
The former class SSW B40-8 #8040 is now the AZER's class unit #4000, leading the interchange from Clifton to Globe across the UP Sunset Route.
