The final return trip from Phoenicia to Mt. Tremper slowly rolls along Rt. 28. In a matter of minutes it will arrive at the station and operations over the line will cease.

Railfans watch as the final train to Phoenicia pulls into the station. After a short layover, passengers will return to Mt. Tremper.

The final train on the Mt. Tremper section of the Catskill Mt. Railroad makes it's way along Esopus Creek.

One of the last Catskill Mountain Railroad trains between Mount Tremper and Phoenicia passes milepost 26 (from Kingston, N.Y.) on the last day of operations.
