GEXR 581 crests the 3% hill from the Salt Mine with 6 salt loads, the max that this trio could haul up the grade.

After leading 581 from Stratford and setting off grain empties at the Goderich grain elevator, the 1401 climbs back onto the 3% grade before easing into the Sifto Salt Mine.

GEXR 431 rolls westward with only minutes of shootable light left. A brand new bridge for a third main track has just been installed and is awaiting the new ROW to be built.
