A scene that can't be duplicated. CSX interchange with the Mid-Michigan Railroad. 3 years later the last Class I railroad pulls out of Saginaw.
A cold and windy day. The bridge at Highbury Ave is a good spot for shooting pictures. London is my second favorite spot to shoot in Canada.

Northbound heading to Wenona Yard.
Yard office that served CO yard for Central Foundry and Plant 2 Saginaw Steering Gear (GM). Most of the rails are gone. Plant 2 SSG is gone as well.
Westbound heading to Chicago. CP trains don't make it this way anymore. Most of them use the NS now.
Eastbound on NS (ex CR, PC, NYC, CCC&STL) EMD SD50 blt 5/1984 (ex: CR 6755)
Eastbound unit coal train. Heard him coming in the west end on the radio.
Another lunch time photo shoot. Another former Conrail locomotive gets CSX paint. It would be nice if CSX would consider a heritage paint schemes like the UP. Dream on.....

This was my first stop to former Wabash rails. When I'm in town I take a swing by to see what's going on....
Northbound to Ludington on Grand Rapids Terminal Subdivision. Now the only CSX traffic is the odd local or interchange with with GR. NS has trackage rights as well....
