AMTK 156 substitutes for the MILW 261 which is currently getting overhauled in Minneapolis. The train looked sharp with a solid set of MILW cars behind the locomotive.

The lease power has added a lot of variety and color to the CP, especially on the former DM&E.

Five units bring 14000 tons down the hill at Westminster during light rain. The past sand trains typically used four units but today's had MNNR 71 third out making it five.

It's been several years since MNNR has carried a manifest through here. Four units lead a unit sand train through Hoffman to Bluff Yard for interchange to BNSF.

It's been a while since the elder six axle GE's stretched their legs out through here and it was quite impressive.

MNNR 316 is topping the hill as they near Broadway Ave. As of the date of the photo, this is the only Alco on the roster in use. Things can change though as power is rotated.
