UP 5304 leads a UP manifest into North Serrano on Cuesta Grade. The cantilever signal at North Serrano is one of only a few left on the Coast Line.

A southbound autos train, with a trio of SD70Ms, makes its down Cuesta Grade through golden hills towards Chorro siding, and then the city of San Luis Obispo.

A northbound empty autos train makes its way across the Stenner Creek Trestle on Cuesta Grade between Santa Margarita and San Luis Obispo.

A UP southbound manifest passes through South Serrano on Cuesta Grade. It will add two more bad order helper engines to its consist once it reaches SLO.

Amtrak 11 works its way around several curves as it approaches the east entrance of Tunnel 10. Tunnel 10 was routed around, and has since had numerous cave ins.

After picking up a string of auto racks and a helper engine to take south this UP manifest passes through the vineyards in the Edna Valley, south of San Luis Obispo.
