After an inbound train to load pellets has cleared and a break in traffic on the Missabe sub has opened, CN 2918 takes the signal to leave the plant and head back to the mine to load again.

Crossing the almost froze St. Louis River, a southbound T-Bird slows to make the turn onto United taconite property with loads of rock for the plant.
