The SP&S only had four F-Units on their roster and all were assigned to passenger service. This unit was the SP&S 803.

The early 70's were an exciting time to be railfan of the BN. This lashup has it all, NP-GN-CBQ painted units and the "new" BN paint scheme head this westbound into the north end of Interbay yard.

This KCS dyno car and 5 KCS SD40-2's arrived in Seattle with a westbound train.

These 5 KCS SD40-2's came in on a BN westbound as some sort of test run. A dynomometer car also came along for the trip.

Now this is a lashup only the UP could put together U50C-DD35B-GP9B-SD40X.
