Time goes by, it's time to farewell DF11 locomotive on Hong Kong Intercity Through Trains. A type of Chinese locomotive which accompanies me everytime I go railfanning in the past.

Train number 1450 is arriving at Linyin Station.

DF11 0016 throttles up as they received a highball from signal light right under my foot.

Locomotive DF11 0094 rushes through Yitonghe Bridge directly towards Changchun Station.

Only few days before this location become whole day backlit. My first DF11 shot here.

It's looks like that the train was running on the wheat carpet.

A sign of the times at Tai Wai: a female passenger can be seen wearing a surgical mask to prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus as the first inbound through train of the morning passes an MTR EMU.

A northbound through passenger train exits a partially covered section of track and enters a heavy band of rain. Thankfully I am covered by the station platform!

This intercity train from Guangzhou is running at least a half-hour late, but the timing was just right for me as a northbound EMU was about to block my view.
