The CPT - JHB Premier Classe makes it appearance from out of a shallow cut a few km outside Matjiesfontein.

So close to being a complete purple train! The Premier Classe from Johannesburg is passing here through Brackenfell station with about 40 min left of the journey to Cape Town.

The CPT to PE Premier Classe passing through Malan at a nice pace with the leading 6E1 in the old SAR red and yellow still looking in a great condition.

A 6E1 and 2 6E's make easy work of this lengthy empty coal train heading up country to the coal fields.

Nice to finally see something new in the Cape, E1464 has been painted in the new Shosholoza Meyl colours and looks really nice!
