The way things were.....B67 with ten wooden bodied cars on a peak hour sevice from Melbourne to Geelong
Most of our A7 fleet are gone, some wooden bodied cars are preserved for fan specials and the semaphore signals at Bacchus Marsh are being replaced as part of a higher train speed project.
English Electric built 1500v DC Co-Co unit which in its day was unmatched by any diesel for passenger train use.
Ready to go out for a fan trip.......I'm driving.
