On a frigid winter's afternoon, train 233 speeds west through Newtonville with a former Holiday Train AC44 leading, as displayed by the light tube conduits on the cab.

For the second day in a row, a 2100 series locomotive leads 149. A rather dirty 2138 is captured in this image snaking its way through the huge S curve at Newtonville Rd.
