After running the locomotives around the train, the excursion is now being shoved to Mount Holly before heading west towards Gastonia.
SLRG 457, now Piedmont & Northern 457, rolls through Belmont Junction on the old P&N main line. The spur to Belmont is seen branching off to the right.

NS 119 rumbles through the town of Belmont with an Ex. ATSF SD75M leading.
With just only 7 of these on the NS system I was lucky enough to catch a XATSF XBNSF now NS SD75M and it was leading.
119 heads south on one of the first good days of 2016 wether wise. And 119 had a rebuilt SD60 on the point it is now a SD60E.
