Looks can be deceiving. This light engine move is going away. What I love about NS high hoods is that this one is set up for long hood forward. You are looking at the rear of the engine!

An inbound freight passes a trio of locomotives. This train will travel along side L&A Road (The road's name tells a little history of this yard).

It's very quiet at the "round house" this morning at 4am. Switcher KCS 4344 idles ready for the morning assignment.

RARE! This SD40X is one of four prototypes for the SD50. This locomotive still has it's rotating light on the nose! KCS 710 behind it is a full SD50. Look and compare!
