CNW 5062 brings a westbound under the Hwy 30 bridge near Westside, IA in May of 1987. This train was a little underpowered as they had a hard time maintaining 40 mph for most of their trip.

One of Soo Line's rare SD60M's crosses 1st Street in Milwaukee, WI in March of 1991 as it starts its' journey south on the old Milwaukee Road C&M subdivision.
CNW 6890 brings the first cut of steaming taconite pellets thru Empire Junction in Negaunee, MI in October of 1988. The ore came from the Empire Mine, which is now closed.
