Just after sunrise, Rio Grande 5371 works the former D&RGW yard at Helper.
For now, the "dirt train" consist still includes a Rio Grande tunnel motor. The sun appeared briefly to illuminate this scene on an otherwise cloudy and snowy day.
The only time the sun peeked thru the clouds all day!
I found a pair of unpatched D&RGW tunnels in the yard at Helper this weekend past . . . the were near the sand tower.

On a sunny evening we see LPJ45, or the "dirt train", heading back west out of Sunnyside in return to Helper. "A Grande day with the Rio Grande"
