EMDX 1503, one of the new EMD SD70ACe-T4 demo units has maid its way to Portland. Unfortunately it wasn't leading, but UP 8949 is unique as the locomotive has the new HTCR-6 trucks.

On the last day of June the southbound Coast Starlight is running on time after arriving early into SLO. The new baggage cars really pop out on these trains.
