With a Twin Cities and Western GP38-2 pulling back, Milwaukee Road 261 pushes eastward back to Minneapolis a bit west of Gaylord.
After throwing the switch on the wye, 261 heads south on the Minnesota Prairie Line towards Winthrop.
After dropping off the majority of the train in the siding, 6988 heads east to wye in South Amana, past an old decrepit barn.
A few minutes after sunrise, 6988 is seen getting prepared for it's final runs before the locomotive's 1472 is up.
The pair of GTW units continue west on the Dubuque Sub past the lumber industry in Delaware. No work needed to be done here today.
