Northbound "City of New Orleans" entering Saint Charles Parish

An EARLY northbound City of New Orleans make it way thru the switches for a stop at Jackson's UNion Station. Third in the consist is an Horizon coach, which is RARE on the "City".

Amtrak 6 leads northbound City of New Orleans through the switches at the tender before stopping at Jackson's Union Station.

The "City of New Orleans" just minutes after departing N.O.U.P.T. Visable in the background is the Louisiana Super Dome.

Arrived 10 minutes early into Memphis only to wait 1 hour for my bags. Another fine example of Amtrak service helping to build repeat customers.
