The Coast Starlight

Amtrak's southbound Coast Starlight rolls through Crossing Alley in Downtown Portland.

AMTK 11 had some UP power added to assist the Starlight down the rest of the Coastline.

The Southbound Starlight heads into Edna Valley.

The phase I heritage painted locomotive moves the southbound Starlight into Portland Union Station. This pair of locomotives brought me into Portland the day before.

Motor 83 was paired with the one spot on the Starlight this trip south, seen here at the north side of Tenino, WA.

Amtrak's northbound Coast Starlight glides down Tehachapi Pass at Woodford during the September detours.
