Circa April 1984. These were so common as to be boring in those days.
Date approximate.
Date approximate, location a pretty good guess. The 4600s had alignment control couplers, 4700s didn't.
Looking good, as built for the last big railroad really into switchers.
Probably more accurately stated Circa November 1981. This recent product of an "extreme makeover" escorts to ugly sisters to a train. Like most, not much changed under the hood.
Oddity from a different angle.
Oddities.
As built including the strobe lights.
Thanksgiving morning
Waiting around for a local or something.
Almost new and looking good.
Nice, fairly recent rebuild. I believe that builder's plate (not all had them) is from Tampa, which rebuilt only a few before closing.
It's actually owned by SBD now.
