Two 01800's meet in the middle of Longfellow Bridge (Salt and Pepper bridge to the locals).

A train of 01800 #3 Red Line Cars is arriving at the old Charles MGH since rebuilt. The #3 series arrived 1993-1994 allowing for the retirement of the 01400 series "bluebirds"

The last El in Boston. Type 7 at North Station about a month before the last elevated in Boston was abandoned and demolished in favor of a new route underground.

Outbound Type 7 leans into the curve on the now demolished elevated. This the last "EL" that was left in Boston closed in June of 2004 with the new route underground.

Two Type 7's are inbound on the now demolished "El" that ran over Causeway St. Today trollies make the approach to Science Park via an incline.
