This train is progressing down the 0.68% grade just east of Colton. Note that the train is not following the right-hand rule, running the "wrong way" on main one.
The maroon and white nose of the CEFX led empty grainer is a nice contrast to the green Gorge
What a beast this one was! CP #9149 (SD90MAC) heads west past my new perch at Baldwin St. Very convienient having this isolated bridge that is surrounded by a very busy car traffic area.

CP 9102 climbs the grade out of the South Saskatchewan River Valley. CP still uses manned pushers on loaded unit trains on this grade.
