Basking in some sweet afternoon light in Juniata, NS 4271 get a few more minutes of rest before making her first trip as part of the NS OCS.
NS 4271 prepares for her maiden trip over the Middle Division by backing into the shed to pull out the train to go to Croxton. The second B unit was left off for this trip.

NS was all about looking elegant while at the U.S. Open at Oakmont. A crew member turned on the lights for the evening which was a nice addition for the trains last night in town.
Leaving home at 4 AM to see one train=A little static from the wife. Gas for the 78 mile trip=An arm and a leg. Seeing this beauty in person=PRICELESS!!!
