Old and the new...London Underground is the oldest underground or subway in the world. Here the latest stock on the line can be seen rolling through historic Notting Hill Gate station.

London Underground, D78 stock is the last of the old "sub surface" stock on the Underground. These were retired in favor of the S stock which now runs on all of the sub surface routes.
