The Central Vermont RS11's came from the Duluth Winnipeg and Pacific and ended up on the original Grand Trunk Railway in Maine.

During the 80's DW&P power migrated to the CV then to the Grand Trunk. For a few years all local and some through service was hauled by these ALCO RS 11's.
