The siding in Roanoke isn't used very often for holding trains, but today a Herzog consist waits along with one of CSX's rebuilt AC4400CW locomotives for a new crew.
A downpour gives two CSX engines a bath as they tread through Roanoke with a long train of mixed freight. The lead engine here, was lowered from 4400 to 4000 horsepower.
