Peeking through/sandwiched by perfectly snow covered trees, the 600 works East at Soda Springs.

Just prior to the signal bridge and shed at Shed 10 this lightly powered 1x1 stack winds through the s-curve as seen from the mountains above.

After exiting Shed 10, this Eastbound stack train is now negotioating the curves through Cisco, CA.

One of the last real heritage shots I caught was of this CNW unit leading the ZLTCS over Donner. I chased it all the way to Roseville, and I am glad that I did. Too bad everything has patches now.
