NS 33k is running alittle behind with 4 engines including 3 GEs and 1 SD70M-2

NS 33K heads west for Allentown Yard through rural Hunterdon County, NJ on a warm spring day. It was nice to see a former Conrail SD60I in the lead (ex CR 5640).

Something told me to wait for 33K today. I did...and as the sun was setting I was rewarded with a pair of UP units which had, earlier in the day, been part of the consist of NS 212.

It seems that the power from this morning's 212 turned very quickly and was assigned to 33K in the afternoon. No complaints here, as it provided a nice break from the usual NS Dash 9 parade.
