Another "monster" stacker exiting the south end of the Meadow Valley Wash, just north of the Las Vegas area...lead by 3 members of UP's Heritage Fleet. It was almost 12,000 ft in length.

This is a very long train at almost 12,000 ft in length...during its journey west from Chicago, UP/MP 1982 developed engine problems. UP 5590 was added at Cheyenne, Wy.

UP 7427 and 7428 appear to be brand spankin' new and are the DPU's on one of UP's extremely long stack trains.
