The Vermont Railways 431 is in charge of Green Mountain Rail Company Train 263 as the slurry consist is pulled east past the former Gassetts Freight House.

After being held near Mt. Holly for nearly an hour the GMRC 263 slurry train drops down grade in northern Chester after being held up due to the GMRC Fall Foliage train originating out of Chester.

The GMRC 263 cuts through the Okemo Mountain ski resorts under threating skies as a single band of light hits the curve at the right moment.

The VRS slurry train heads south passing farmlands in the Town of Rockingham.

As it cuts through town, the GMRC 263 passes the flock of railfans all trying to get there perfect shot of this modern locomotive passing the historic Chester Depot.
