In what has to be about the shortest coal train I've seen Union Pacific run. Two units 7657 and 2626 lead at most, I would guess, 50 coal hoppers on the Provo Subdivision.

I saw Valmy coal train rolling through Grant Tower, on the way home from work, and the chase was on. First up LM Bryan. The coal dust is a flying.

An afternoon manifest is just east of Union Pacific's, Salt Lake City's North yard. It always feels kind of special to get a pure EMD lashup. SD70ACe 8843 and 8911.
