In 1946, a Woodie gets caught at the Enyeart Rd. crossing by the local passenger train returning from Mt. Union. It could be true, if not for the modern street sign and telephone poles.

Two lonely hay bales observe the passage of a well-patronized passenger train on a cool Sunday morning during the East Broad Top's 2006 Fall Spectacular.

This is why the East Broad Top is a trip back in time. Not much in this photo of 15 backing a freight train through the yard says it was taken in 2006 instead of 1946.

Just north of the station the photo freight behind EBT 15 passes by the "EBT Arrow" and another barn/shed to the right.

I'd like to call this one, "The Master and the Apprentice", although that is not technically accurate or true. The engineer and fireman talk to another crewman before another run to Colgate Grove.

EBT 15 brings the last train of the weekend back towards Orbisonia station.

The photo freight special passes just in time as the fringe of a Noreaster rolls into the area and lingers the entire day.

There is no way to exactly capture the feeling of being there, but I feel this is the closest to it.

EBT 15 pulls the passenger train north out of the Orbisonia Station, seen here framed by the 'abandoned' pump station. I say 'abandoned' because there was a mattress inside.

EBT 2-8-2 is reflected in a tiny offshoot that splits from Blacklog Creek, just north of Orbisonia station.

EBT no. 17 steams along on a fine fall day, heading north in the direction of Mt. Union. Nothing much has changed since 1954, except the hopper cars are empty!
