The last train of the day behind #98 and #58 is seen crossing Bridge 8A over Red Clay Creek at Wooddale.

The doubleheader returns to the Greenbank station passing a local horse farm.

During the first of two Pufferbelly Days in the 2007 season, 4-4-0 98 and 0-6-0 58 reverse over the first bridge crossing of the Red Clay Creek, just outside Greenbank station.

A 4-4-0 classic. At one time this was the most popular wheel arrangement in the US assuming it's nickname - the American. This engine was originally built in 1909 for the Mississippi Central.

The first excursion of the day crosses the trestle just outside of the Greenbank station behind #98 & #58.

MARC 4902 is a guest at Amtrak's shops in Wilmington for servicing.

With a build date of July 1948, the 742 is definitely showing its age, and it might even be a donor unit to keep Amtrak's other SW1s in running condition. There may be hope for it yet though, cons... (more)

Built in November 1950, the 738 is still going strong as the Washington Terminal switcher. Runs well, too, from the sound of it!

Although it wears the latest paint scheme, 952 still has yet to be rebuilt into an AEM-7AC.

Though it's cosmetically in good shape for a 13-year-old locomotive, the duct-taped lights and receptacles indicate that this P40BH isn't headed anywhere soon.
