NS 4271 leads a deadhead move of the OCS towards Portsmouth, VA for a special move relating to the Heartland Corridor. Thanks to Tom Granville for giving me updates on the train's progress!

NS 3352 and 5682 lead a two-car OLS special east out of Manville Yard a few minutes late thanks to a CSX freight also heading east.

A mother and her son watch intentively as NS 955 an Operation Lifesaver special passes through on its way west.

The special is in siding waiting for west-bound 722 unit empty coal hoppers to come by. Then it will get on up to Roanoke to be part of Train Day on Saturday.

After chasing from Mansfield - Crestline - Bucyrus all in clouds we finally got lucky with the last light of the day at 7:30 PM as the OCS run down to the Kentucky Derby headed towards Columbus.
