Rolling east on Milwaukee Road's charter cross-state line, the WSOR 4053 "Grow Wisconsin" motor gets an assist from a sister SD40-2 and Soo 1003 as it passes the old depot.

The westbound CSX "Iron Highway" train heads towards Chicago. This service was only a couple months old at the time, it didn't last.

WSOR action is dwarfed by Madison's new high rises as viewed from the Monona Convention Center. If you decide to buy one of the condos in that building give me a call.
