The Power on today's ballast train drifts back towards the loading tower and the second cut of their cars to be loaded.

The ballast trains are owned by the UP, but WSOR crews bring them on their trackage from Janesville, WI to Rock Springs and back, and load them for the UP.

UP 2984 pulls a long string of ballast cars through the loader. Rock Springs is the home of the famous "pink lady" rock.
