With another SD70ACe cut in as a mid train DPU. UP 8398 hauls a late evening eastbound over the Lynndyl Subdivision.

On a relatively short train UP 8977, 8363, 5492, 6582, 7397, 6885 are up front. With 8904 on the rear DPU. I can only assume, this has to be a partly a power transfer.

UP 6394 and 4216 are coming off the Great Salt Lake on the Ex Western Pacific causeway. The Lake is really starting to dry up on the south end, as the summer goes on.

Westbound UP 7483 and 8497 round the curve between Lakepoint and Erda, Utah.

UP 7895 2690 are giving their all at Lakepoint, Utah. They are doing about 20 miles an hour, on the grade and losing momentum. They will crest this climb in about a 1/4 mile though.

I had to stop and get this one on my commute home. A GE Tier 4 UP 2712 leads two other GE's elephant style. UP 2712, 5391, 6380 are three different variant, of GE models over recent years.
