Steam along the Douro line
8 narrow gauge Mallet locos gradually rust away around the turntable at Regua. They had already been there for over 20 years! Note the 5 feet 6 inch gauge DMU in the station.

Metre gauge 2-4-6-0T Mallet stands infront of broad gauge 2-8-4T No 0182 in the mixed gauge engine yard at Regua. Both engines were built by Henschel & Shn, Kassel, Germany.
