East Classification Yard, early Conrail days

NS Y90's power basks away in Enola yard while waiting for a crew to take to Baltimore. NS 8098 "Conrail" heritage leads the way and would depart Enola later that afternoon.

Up the Ramp

A clean set of Conrail GP10’s are running up the ramp between the westbound departure yard and the eastbound arrival yard at Enola, Pennsylvania.

Three GP38-2s mingle with a GEVO at NS' Enola Locomotive Shop. The two low-nose units have most likely been here many times in the past when they were employed by Penn Central and Conrail.

A pair of former New Haven/Virginian GE electrics, now working for Penn Central as their class E33, have just departed Enola Yard with an eastbound freight.
