As fall colors slowly working their way in, GDLK's transfer job from CSX's Wyoming Yard is on their way back to Hughart Yard in Grand Rapids.

Was out hunting trains, specifically this new GP38-3, but instead was also able to hunt this fella. He paused for a while, but moved when the locomotive got closer.

CSX SD40-2 #8880, of Conrail origin, creeps it way across Hall St. with train D907 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at restricted speed due to a MOW crew near the crossing. A rail was being replaced that... (more)

Mid Michigan #24 sits outside the Grand Rapids Eastern RR's engine house at Ann Street yard. The GP9 was built as Northern Pacific #368.

MMRR 24 sits out a extremely cold night at the Ann St. yard in Grand Rapids. This engine has since been acquired by G&W with their purchase of Rail America.

On an unseasonably warm November night, Amtrak's Pere Marquette waits for it's 6:00 AM departure. The Vernon J. Ehlers Station is just over a year old and a vast improvement over the old depot.
