CSX 349 and CSX 3322 lead a long manifest train past the crossovers at MP 635 as they head towards Jacksonville.

It is a beautiful morning as NS 8037 and UP 8170 lead a long manifest train over the St. John river drawbridge towards the Florida East Coast Railroad's Bowden yard.

CSXT's "Operation Lifesaver" unit is paused at West Jax with an empty OUC coal train. Later in its journey, it would have an encounter with a vehicle, reaffirming its message.

The only occasion the NS OCS crossed the bridge to FEC Bowden Yard with the F's that I can recall....they were heading to the ramp in Titusville. This was one of only a couple/few times they ran ... (more)

Local crew has taken the OCS out to Duval to turn it facing the other way for a trip to Miami via the Sanford Subdivision. At the time, this was normal as the OCS was kept at West Jax then.
