ATN (LTEX) 7444 was built as SP 8879 in 1967.
A lashup of six units sits at the ATN yard in Gadsden on an uneventful Saturday afternoon. Like all of ATN's six axle power, the 7444 is a former SP unit, rebuilt by Larry's Truck and Electric.
