Climbing the Tehachapi grade at the loop itself. This picture really shows the superelevation of this curve.

This covered hopper unit train is one of the longest I have ever seen at the loop as it was about 140 cars in length. You can see a different train still in the loop above the cab of the loco.

This southbound train stopped in Walong Siding on the Tehachapi Loop waiting for a northbound BNSF train.
