This was a special plow train to test Rotary OM, which had just been rebuilt by the C&TS shops. OM was built in 1889 by Cooke Locomotive & Machine Works.

Although 489 is cut in as a mid-train helper, 487 seems to be doing most of the work as another Steam Loco Safari Tours charter approaches Cresco tank.
